The Bessemer Academy Rebels defeated the Glenwood Gators by a score of 44 - 15. The stars of the game for Bessemer Academy Rebels included PJ McDonald with 16 completions for 236 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, Jarvis Dancy with 139 yards rushing and a touchdown, Joshua McMillon with 123 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns and 8 receptions for 99 yards and 7 tackles, KC Harrison with 52 yards rushing and a touchdown, Dylan Lee with 2 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown, Lebbeus Overton with a receiving touchdown and 11 tackles and 2 sacks, Christ Pickens with 9 tackles, Judson Hogeland with 7 tackles, Collin Timmons with 7 tackles, Jacquez Bilbrew with 2 fumble recoveries, and Jackson Stewart with 6 extra points and 1 field goal for 9 points. With the win Bessemer Academy improved their record to 3 - 2, next the Rebels, will go on the road to face-off against their conference rivals the (4 - 1) Tuscaloosa Academy Knights.

Bessemer City Purple Tigers vs McAodry Yellow Jackets

The Bessemer City Purple Tigers defeated their cross-town rivals the McAdory Yellow Jackets by a score of 15 - 7 for the first time since 2003. The Stars of of the game for The Bessemer City Purple Tigers included their defense for holding the Yellow Jackets to a total of 94 yards, and a safety, quarterback Rishard Densmore with 84 yards rushing and a touchdown and 54 yards passing for a touchdown, Jamichael Rogers with 2 receptions for 31 yards, 9 tackles and two punts for 43 yards and Deontae Hall with 23 rushes for 112 yards. McAdory got their only touchdown of the game on a 4th and goal with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Cameron Shepard to Dee Riddle. McAdory’s Devonte’ Agee leed the Yellow Jackets defense with seven tackles. With the win, The Bessemer City Purple Tigers improve their overall record to 3 - 0 and will next travel to take on the 6a (4 - 0) Paul Bryant Stampede in another regional matchup. The McAdory Yellow Jackets record drops to (2 - 2) and will next face-off against the 6a (3 - 1) Selma Lions at home for homecoming.

Midfield Patriots

The Midfield Patriots defeated the Vinemont Eagles on the road by a score of 42 - 30. The stars of the game for Midfield were Karsten Threatt with six rushing attempts for 158 yards and two touchdowns and 12 tackles, Dominic Pruitt with a rushing touchdown and receiving touchdown, Mike Jones with a 50-yard touchdown reception and Jaylon Collier with a fumble returned for a touchdown. With the win the Midfield Patriots improve their record to (3 - 0), this week the Midfield Patriots are off as they get prepared for their homecoming against the (2 - 1) Talladega Tigers.

Brookwood Panthers

The Brookwood Panthers lost to the Hillcrest Tuscaloosa Patriots 52 - 8. The stars of the game for the Brookwood Panthers included Ethan Armstrong with 21 passing attempts for 148 yards and a touchdown, Ty Gardner with five rushes for 34 yards and six receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. With the loss, the Brookwood Panthers drop their overall record to (1 - 3), and next will go on the road to face-off against the (3 - 0) Hueytown golden Gophers in their homecoming and another regional matchup.

Oak Grove Tigers

The Oak Grove Tigers won their first game of the season beating the Curry Yellow Jackets on the road 48 - 28. The Tigers had 301 total yards with 97 passing and 204 rushing. The win is a very critical one for the Tigers as it was a Region matchup which gives them a (1 - 1) record in the region along with an overall record of (1 - 3) and gives them good momentum going into this weeks homecoming battle against region opponent the (4 - 0) Good Hope Raiders.

Fairfield Tigers

The Fairfield Tigers defeated the Wenonah Dragons in a battle 16 - 10. The stars of the game for Fairfield were #52 Samuel Honor who had an 82-yard fumble return to score the first touchdown for the Tigers and then Omar Young who score3d the 2 point conversion that gave the Tigers the lead 8 - 7 early in the 3rd quarter. Omar Young through a 42-yard pass to Malachi Bennett for Fairfield Touchdown with under a minute to go in the 3rd quarter and Malachi Bennett ran it in for the two-point conversion. The Tigers held off the Dragons offense in the 4th quarter to win the game. With the win, the Fairfield Tigers improve their overall record to (2 - 2) and their region record to (2 - 0), next they will host their first home game of the season on their new astroturf against the (3 - 1) Ramsay Rams in another regional matchup.

John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers

The John Carroll Cavaliers lost to the Parker Thundering Herd 49 - 21. The stars of the game for the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers were Jharod Johnson with 14 passing attempts for 189 yards and a touchdown, Jeremiah Gibbs with 14 rushes for 110 yards and two touchdowns and Ethan Cull with four receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown. With the win, the Cavaliers drop their overall record to (2 - 2), and they will next go on the road for another regional battle against the (1 - 3) Woodlawn Colonels.

Pleasant Grove Spartans

The Pleasant Grove Spartans fell to the Ramsay Rams 47 - 19 in a regional battle. The Spartans had a total of 205 offensive yards with 138 yards passing and 67 yards rushing. The loss drops the Pleasant Grove Spartans overall record to (3 - 1), and next they will host the Parker Thundering Herd (2 - 2) in another regional battle.

West Blocton Tigers

The West Blocton Tigers lost to the American Christian Patriots by a score of 55 - 32. With the loss, the Tigers overall record falls to (1 - 3) and next they will go on the road to face the (1 - 3) Greensboro Raiders.
