Since 1994, the Achievers League has been serving special people with different needs, that want to play ball. The Achievers League is a softball league for special needs children and young adults.They modify the game to make all of the players feel like they have achieved something!!! They make them feel accomplished and make them feel like they are part of a TEAM! The Achievers League gives them a sense of BELONGING and being ACCEPTED for what they can do! They make it all about THEM!!
Players must be at least 5 years old by March 1, 2020 to be eligible to play this season. If you know a child or young adult that would be interested in playing, please have them come out to registration. Dates and times below. They are holding registration on Friday, January 24th from 6pm till 8 pm and Saturday, January 25 from 10 am till 2 pm at the Hueytown Girls Fast Pitch Park, or Allison-Bonnett Park located at 512 Pinewood Avenue in Hueytown. They will be in the upstairs part of the concession building.To register, the parent or guardian will have to sign paperwork giving permission for player to play, and must show medical insurance information for the player. They also ask for a $25 donation.
