When Miles resumes its home basketball schedule next week, fans will be allowed in Knox-Windham Gymnasium in a limited capacity.

The decision to limit capacity with physical distancing was made in conjunction with state and local health authorities due to the COVID-19 pandemic and concerns over the Omicron variant. Fans will be allowed on a first-come, first-entry basis, and all attendees must wear face coverings and will be physically distance during the event. Once the capacity has been reached, no one else will be allowed entry. The event capacity will be determined by including all participants, essential staff and guests of each participating team's student-athletes and coaches and a reduced number of fans.

Miles will continue to monitor the situation and review the policy if conditions improve, but safety is the top determinant as the College assess the its plans moving forward.

The next home games for Miles come on Jan. 10 when it hosts Clark Atlanta. The women will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the men will start following the completion of the women's contest.
