It only took Jolynn “JoJo” Wilkinson two races after a devastating crash to get back on top in victory lane, tonight as she won the Six Shot Showdown Late Model at the Huntsville Speedway. She started the race in the #1 pole position, took off at the green flag and never looked back, leading all 50 laps and capturing the victory. This is the first win of the season for JoJo as she was taken out of action 2 months ago in a devastating wreck in Pensacola and has been recovering since. She returned to racing action last weekend at Sayre Speedway where she also grabbed the pole position but due to some technical difficulties finished 4th. Jolynn won two races last season at the Huntsville Speedway.

Jolynn “JoJo” Wilkinson is the youngest female in the nation racing in the Pro Late Model Division at the age of 15 and is a sophomore at Hueytown High School. She is sponsored by Lawson State Community College, Mezrano Law Firm - InstaCoat Products, Automart South and GARC.
