Heritage Christian Academy Eagles started 2022 with back-to-back wins against Banks Academy Jets and North River Christian Academy Chargers.

The Varsity Men defeated Banks Academy by a score of 61-44.  Greyson Sanford led the Eagles with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 1 assist.  Tobias Stoutermire contributed 10 points, 4 rebounds and 4 blocks.  Kaden McKinney chipped in 9 points and 2 steals.

The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Jets by a score of 33-13.  Katie Hart led the Lady Eagles with 24 points, 14 steals and 8 rebounds.  Emily Calhoun chipped in 4 points and 5 rebounds.  Lani Carre contributed 4 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

Both teams continued the win streak the following evening, defeating the Chargers of North River Christian Academy in area play.  The HCA Varsity Men finished the game with a score of 62-29.  Top scorers for the Eagles were Greyson Sanford with 22 points, Michael Hart with 13 points and Tobias Stoutermire with 10 points.   HCA Varsity Men are now 2-0 in area competition.

The Lady Eagles were victorious against the Lady Chargers with a final score of 37-19.  Top scorers for the Eagles were Katie Hart with 13 points, Lani Carre with 11 points and Leah Pace with 8 points.  The Lady Eagles are 1-1 in area competition.

The Eagles are set to host North River Academy on 1/11/21 and will travel to Tuscaloosa Academy on 1/14/21.
