Lawson State Community College is pleased to announce the Cougar Pride Scholarship, a new scholarship opportunity for students applying to the college for the Spring 2021 academic semester. “We understand that during these hard, economic times, many of our students have had to face challenges—including having to make tough choices about whether they can continue their education. As we continue to strive to help our students as they pursue success, we created the Cougar Pride Scholarship to provide some assistance to help ease a portion of their financial burden,” said Dr. Cynthia T. Anthony, interim president of Lawson State Community College.

Eligible Lawson State students can register for up to nine (9) credit hours, and the college will match the tuition for nine (9) additional credit hours. Applications are being accepted now up until December 4, 2020 for the Lawson State Cougar Pride Scholarship.
