Jefferson County Department of Health Extends Operations for Downtown Birmingham COVID Testing Site

The Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH), Alabama Media Group, and Crook Realty Company will continue partnering with Easy Testing to offer COVID-19 testing through August 27,2022. The testing site is on the corner of 18th Street and 1st Avenue North (1809 1st Ave N), Birmingham, AL 35203. This outdoor location is convenient for both drive-up and walk-up service. Testing is available Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. The testing site will remain open through August 27, 2022.
The testing utilizes a rapid point-of-care test with results returned in 15 - 20 minutes or a PCR test with results returned the next day. Testing is free and no ID, legal status, or medical insurance is required. Drive-up and walk-ups are welcome and the test site is accessible by public transit. Anyone needing to be tested is strongly encouraged to pre-register at EasyTesting.com.
